Windows XP

The latest version may still run on Windows XP.

• We load “AVRT.dll” to access the Multimedia Scheduler Service in Windows Vista and later. By accessing it this way, earlier platforms will be able to run, albeit without the feature.

Previously supported platforms in SDL 1.2 and not in SDL 2

The latest version won’t support these platforms.
